NitroPack Joins #WPGivesAHand: Giving Back to Global Communities

This December, we’re excited to share that NitroPack is joining the 2025 #WPGivesAHand initiative—a movement across the WordPress[1] community dedicated to giving back worldwide.

Running from December 22–28, the event unites businesses that participate in the WordPress ecosystem in a shared effort to support charitable causes during the final week of the year.

For us, this is more than a campaign.

It’s an opportunity to contribute to a tradition that celebrates generosity, collaboration, and the spirit of the ecosystem.

As a company built within—and supported by—the incredible WordPress community, we’re thrilled to participate for the very first time and join the growing list of businesses making a positive impact together!

What Is #WPGivesAHand?

#WPGivesAHand began five years ago as a grassroots initiative encouraging companies within the WordPress ecosystem to donate a percentage of their revenue during the last week of the year.

Since then, it has grown into a recognizable movement within the ecosystem—one that continues to inspire companies of all sizes to give back in meaningful ways.

Since 2020, the initiative has:

  • united 28+ WordPress ecosystem businesses
  • supported 19 charitable organizations
  • and generated more than $58,000 in collective donations.

The 2024 edition alone raised $6,985, with contributions from companies across the ecosystem, including Visual Composer, WPBakery, Amelia, wpDataTables, Trafft, YITH, Dynamic.ooo, WP Job Openings, and many more.

The consistency of participation and the diversity of supported causes—from children’s organizations and educational programs to community development and animal welfare—underscore the strength and credibility of the movement.

It’s a reminder of what makes the WordPress ecosystem unique: a global community that takes action together.

Why NitroPack Is Participating

At NitroPack, we’re fortunate to support thousands of businesses that depend on WordPress software every single day.

Joining #WPGivesAHand is our way of giving back to the community that has played such a huge role in our growth, our work, and our mission. By participating, we’re joining many companies, like Awsm Digital Innovations Pvt Ltd, Brandy, Bookster, Convesio, Melgorano Venture Studio, Seahawk Media, WPBakery and WP Kraken, that believe in using their platforms to make a tangible difference.

At the end of event week, NitroPack will make a donation to the SOS Children’s Villages charity.

Giving back isn’t just an end-of-year gesture for us. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to being an active, responsible contributor to the broader WordPress ecosystem.

The Impact of Giving Back

What makes #WPGivesAHand truly powerful is how the impact grows through participation.

Each company contributes individually, but together, we amplify awareness, encourage support, and elevate causes that matter worldwide.

The movement works because the community rallies behind it—sharing posts, spreading the word, and championing the initiative across social media. Whether you’re a business owner, developer, agency, creator, or enthusiast, you play a role in strengthening the movement.

There are several easy ways to support #WPGivesAHand and help us make an even greater impact:

  1. Follow the hashtag #WPGivesAHand to stay updated throughout the week.
  2. Share posts from participating companies and help raise awareness.
  3. Support businesses taking part in the movement

Even the simplest action helps strengthen the initiative and allows its positive influence to reach more people around the world.

We’re proud to stand alongside other WordPress ecosystem companies taking part and look forward to contributing to a meaningful tradition that reflects the collaborative spirit of the ecosystem we’re honored to be part of.
